"A Marriage is a Promise"

A marriage is a promise
That two hearts gladly make,
A promise to be tender,
To help, to give, to take.

A marriage is a promise
To be kind and understanding,
To be thoughtful and considerate,
Fair and understanding.

A marriage is a promise
To share one life together,
A love filled promise – meant to be –
Kept lovingly, forever.

civil celebrantfirst step to your wedding ceremony

your special day

Meet the Civil Marriage Celebrant.

The first step towards organising the wedding ceremony is for us to meet. You can phone me (02 9654 0661) or email me at:
ros@unforgettableweddings.com.au to arrange a mutually convenient time. You will need to know your wedding date, time and venue.

Together we need to fill in the ‘Notice of Intended Marriage’

(NIM), an official document, giving all of your personal details.,
I would like to assure you of my strict confidentiality regarding all of these details.

So that you may view this document, (NIM), you can

However, do not fill it in - but look it over to have some idea of the details required. We will need to complete the NIM together carefully – gathering the required information from your own personal documents.

I will also be witnessing your signatures, & it will be dated the day of this witnessing.

The ‘Notice of Intended Marriage’ must be completed and lodged, at the very latest, exactly one month and one day before the wedding.

That is the latest - & the very earliest, if you are an early bird is 18 months before the wedding. You also need to be 18 years of age (and over!) to marry.
